Mr. Muhammad Waqas Ahmed is a seasoned it professional with over 13 years of dedicated service at the Pakistan institute for rehabilitation sciences (pirs), where he currently serves as an assistant professor. He is pursuing his PhD in computer science from Air university, further enhancing his academic and technical credentials. With a strong foundation in all core areas of information technology.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he actively contributes to the institutional framework by coordinating with faculty and students, maintaining comprehensive office records, facilitating institutional reporting for the quality enhancement cell (qec), and liaising with the university’s examination department. He also plays a key role in organizing institutional events and is responsible for the development and maintenance of the institute’s website.
Mr. Waqas is deeply committed to knowledge sharing and student mentorship. His passion for teaching is complemented by his interest in software development and it systems management. He has published 15+ research articles in national and international journals, with a current h-index of 6, reflecting the impact and relevance of his scholarly work.
With a blend of academic excellence, technical expertise, and administrative leadership, mr. Waqas continues to make significant contributions to the advancement of it education and infrastructure at pirs.
